State Registered Certified Nurse Assistant Program
Class Begins: Tuesday, February 2, 2027
Approx. End Date: Tuesday, June 22, 2027
Meeting Times: Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-8:30pm
Locations: Sheehan High School for classroom study. Masonicare Health Center for clinical practice
REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE:
- Background screening (Approx $80)
- Minimum CASAS reading assessment score of 235
- Physical exam with a TB skin test (PPD Test) and/or Quanteferon Gold Test. Our form, Your Doctor.
- Scrubs uniforms
- Current flu shot
- Covid vaccination
- A watch with a second hand
**During clinical training, in class, you will be asked to play the role of a patient.
STATE TESTING:
To be eligible for the state test you must pass the course with a 75% or better average and pass all the clinical skills. CT State Test is taken after graduation and is MANDATORY if you recieve funds from Workforce Alliance.
