MEETING TIMES: Monday and Wednesday 5:00pm - 8:30pm / Some Thursdays will be required

Requirements to Participate:
- High School Diploma/GED/or College Transcript
- Hep B series
- Current flu and possible Covid Vaccination
This course prepares the student for the administrative and clinical responsibilities of a Medical Assistant in a medical office, outpatient setting, clinic, or hospital environment.
- Scheduling, billing & coding, insurance preparation electronic medical office
- Vital signs, patient screening, point of care testing, outpatient surgical prep, phlebotomy, EKG, CPR & first aid, anatomy & physiology, medical terminology and pharmacology
- Resume 101, interview skills
**During classroom clinical skills, you will be asked to play the role of a patient.
NCCT National Exam:
To be eligible for the NCCT test, you must pass the course with a 75% or better average and pass all the clinical skills. The NCCT National Exam is taken after you have fulfilled clinical externship and graduation. It is MANDATORY if you receive funds from Workforce Alliance.
