MEETING TIMES:             Tuesday and Thursday 5:00-8:30 CNA Module - 1st Semester

                                        Mon and Weds 5:30-8:30 Phlebotomy Module - 2nd Semester

                                        Mon and Weds 5:00-8:30 EKG Module - Summer

LOCATION:                       Sheehan High School for classroom study

                                        Masonicare for CNA Externship

                                        Quest Diagnostics for Phlebotomy Externship

                                        SCOW for EKG Module

Patient Care Technicians assist patients with daily living, point of care testing, EKG's, charting, wound care, catheter and colostomy care and more. This comprehensive 11 month course prepares you to work in the hospital and long term care environments of patient care.

Requirements to Participate: 

  • High School Diploma/GED/or College Transcript
  • Background screening (Approx $80)
  • Physical Exam with TB skin test (PPD Test) and/or Quanteferon Gold test
  • A watch with a second hand  

**During clinical training, in class, you will be asked to play the role of patient

NCCT National Exam: 

To be eligible for the NCCT test, you must pass the course with a 75% or better average and pass all the clinical skills. The NCCT National Exam is taken after graduation and is MANDATORY if you receive funds from Workforce Alliance.

Prometrics Exam:

This is a MANDATORY state exam for CNA certification.  It is taken at the end of the CNA module.
